Mindful Movement and Meditation
Mindful movement and meditation are wonderful ways for children to practice healthily habits, build body awareness, and create new neurological pathways. Through stories, songs, games, dance parties, breathing exercises, yoga poses, and quiet meditation, students have the opportunity to turn inward, outward, and in some circles while promoting their own wellness and learning lifelong skills.
Participants will learn calming techniques to better manage stress and anxiety, skills that promote self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-confidence, poses that are conducive to building strong, healthy, and balanced bodies, and tools to improve focus, enhance concentration, and support cognitive growth.
This unique introduction to yoga and meditation is customized for children of all ability levels, races, genders, religions, sexual orientations, and national origins.
