Little Monets
In this one on one or small group course participants will develop both theoretical and technical visual art skills.
While each class includes introductory vocabulary about materials, theories, and famous artists, the overall course is focused on "thinking like an artist" and "the creative process." Therein, learners will have studio time to independently explore and invent.
Participants will need access to their medium of choice. This can include anything from a favorite pen, sidewalk chalk, a ball of string or magazines to oil paints, a digital camera, professional grade clay or building materials and everything in between.
This interactive course is scaffolded for children of all ability levels, races, genders, religions, sexual orientations, and national origins.

“Art education for young learners is challenging. It's so easy to just stick to the normal script - and that's fine too - but if you want to get deeper into it - Elizabeth is that teacher. Also, she is sweet and encouraging. We will be continuing this series. Her class has really given my daughter a chance to grow as an artist.” Adrienne G.
